I waited some time to review these as I was testing some different home WiFi setups and equipment. As for the switches themselves, they work great. I have one installed in my garage and one installed in an attic space. I bought them specifically for these locations as these are the two switches that get left on the most often and I wanted to be able to shut them off remotely or via a timer. I had no issues installing these (though I did work for an electrician for many years as a young adult and I currently work in the tech industry). As a manual switch, they work flawlessly. As a WiFi switch, they work just as well, both in the Wemo App, or Home App on my iPhone 11 (IOS 14). Setting them up via the Wemo App was a breeze which also set them up in the Home App simultaneously.Note about WiFi: You need a GOOD WiFi signal for these to work reliably. As I was testing some different WiFi routers and extenders they only time I experienced any type of issue with rules not working or the app not recognizing/working was when a switch had a signal strength of less then 50% (-65dBm). I have approximately 50 WiFi devices on my network (10 of these are smart switches like the Wemo switches or plugs). The device with the weakest signal is about 49%. Though this device works fine with no problems I did have to move it closer to the router to set it up initially.Tip: If you have a device that gets a weak WiFi signal and the rules work sporadically. Make a backup rule. For instance, if you have a rule to turn the lights off after they have been On for 15 minutes. Also make a rule to turn them off at 16 minutes. I used this method effectively until I had an adequate WiFi signal to all devices.
