To watch the video this looked like it would be very hard to mess it up. But the wires kept getting crossed up when you try and reel it all back in.It's very convenient but the reels are not always synchronized...something a couple can wind up tight and leave significant slack in another. On the whole pretty handy though.The only way I trusted goats in this fence while training them was to have them inside another enclosed area. At then end of several successful hours of confinement they just hopped on through like it wasn't there. Thinking that I just needed more days of training I decided to put it away for the night. This thing is NOT EASY to wind back up. There is no good way to hold it with one hand while winding with the other. This fully convinced me that I needed to return this item, which was approved. Then I discovered that return shipping was not covered and it would cost me $97.00 to ship this item to get my money back. So now I am stuck with an easy to set up fence that my goats laugh at that takes me a painful hour of awkward winding to put away. Three hundred dollars that I wish I had spent on something else!Works perfect, easy to use settings up & removing. Wish it could have been a bit less pricey. But we use it frequently for cattle & horses.First off, the Pros, very easy to setup and take down. The concept is really a great idea,The Bad.Cheap wire: My sheep have broken it on multiple occasions. So I have had to tie it and it won't go back into the the spool anymore.Posts: There are not enough posts to support all the wire. I have to supplement with plastic posts. Also the posts are not very sturdy, if you put any kind of tension on the corner posts, they bend.Stakes: The stakes that come with it are a neat idea, but are little metal spikes with no real holding power.I bought this fence for moving pastures for sheep and goats. First, does not keep goats in they just walk through it. Secondly, very very difficult to take back down. It get tangled and is a big mess with the wires. Just a hassle for the price.UPDATE 2/1/19 - we had to totally retire these fences (2). They do nothing to stop the animals and contain them (all are trained to electric fences). They just walk thru it - fence tests hot! Does not work.Does not restrain Goats - our goats jump right between top string and third string. Really needs 1 more stran to be effective. We have replaced with Premier 1 electric netting. Also one of our LGD’s figures he did not need to remain contained w this fence either - we never had a problem w dogs leaving fenced area. All animals are trained to electric fence so that’s not it. We had high hopes as I love the ease of use.I bought this in the spring and it is now October. I have used the product multiple times and absolutely love it!!! When I go horse camping it takes 10 minutes to set up - while my friends portable fences take 45 mins to an hour. I also use it on the farm to rotate grazing areas - it is plenty big and so easy to use. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. Well worth the price for the time and convenience it affords you.
