Fit Benz Smart Car Fortwo Roadster 2008-2009 Silicone Induction Intake Hose Clamps (Red) - High Performance Replacement Part for Enhanced Airflow & Engine Efficiency

The quality of this hose is awesome but the stem for the vacuum line is a bit further away from the throttle body than where the molded factory vacuum hose connects in the original plastic tubing. I had to cut the factory vac hose to get everything to fit just right. Even as flexible as this new hose is the angle of the vacuum line is too extreme to install the original vacuum line without cutting it. Love this mod but it would have been nicer if you could just install the original vacuum line without cutting it. The only other thing I’ve noticed is that the engine is a bit sluggish when accelerating quickly, almost like it’s starved for air since you physically remove the air baffles that would normally assist with a larger amount of air into the throttle body. You also get a bit more throaty noise when stepping on the gas peddle… Great quality on the hose though :-)
