There are a number of items in the Wiz line that are very finicky and the company does a horrible job of articulating what they all are. The prompts tell you to make sure the batteries are good but what the company doesn't tell you is they have to be super strong -- like, straight-out-of-the-box strong. Without super strong and fresh batteries, it will really struggle to pair with a new system and the prompts don't clue you in to the real problem. Once paired, it should work fine with whatever batteries still have a reasonable amount of juice left.Easy as 1-2-3 to add it to the room. The 4 buttons are different modes then you have the simple on/off, night and dimmer buttons....really wish they would have thought about a wall cradle (available 3D printed on ETSY) I'mmaking due with a 3M command velcro strip covering the existing light switch.I use a lot of Phillips Hue wifi connected bulbs and fixtures around my house, and was looking for a product like this to be able to turn on a wax melt lamp 20 minutes before arriving home. This device meets that need perfectly.Where some devices won't allow you to control them via 5G, this one does. I don't need to be connected to any wifi signal to turn connected devices on or off, over the air cellphone signal is enough. The WiZ app allows control of this device from anywhere, not just my home network. I'm very happy with this product and will definitely use more as ends arise.We have Google Home and all the WIZ products we have bought so far, work just as they are supposed to. The MacID on these takes a minute to figure out, if you live in a community with shared networks and "whitelists" but besides that, no complaints at all with this brand. I use these to lazily turn our outlets on and off during the day, as needed.We wants to control all our light groups (I.e hit off and all lights go off). This does not work.It’s designed for simple use fade of controlling one light or one room.Should allow for multi room selection on remote set up.I have a vintage sign on top of a bookshelf. It has a switch that I could only reach with a ladder. Now I can sit back and turn it on with the app on my phone. This is the third one I have, and they all work perfectly and do not interfere with each other at all. The Philips WIZ products work very well, and I have them throughout my home. No hub is required, simply follow the pairing steps in the WiZ app for your favorite voice assistant."At the time ad simply stated: "Compatible with Alexa and Google Home Assistant, White"."No HUB required"!However - you DO need to buy Wiz [propriety] Lightbulbs!I guess they were hoping - that once i'd mistakenly purchased their cheaply made gizmo, i'd feel stuck buying their other accessories.No Dice. I sent their junk back to Amazon who very graciously refunded my money. Wish i'd not wasted my precious time with Wiz products. :-(When i received this product, it's box clearly states, "WORKS WITH ALL WIZ CONNECTED PRODUCTS".What?!It would have been helpful if they'd said this here in Amazon. But no.Sure - so long as you only use "WIZ" wifi light bulbs.But NOT with the wifi light i bought - which was rechargeable specifically because it's one part of our flat that has no outlet or light sockets. I feel this is (at the very least) "misleading".Solo lo puedes programar para que funcione en una sola habitación. Si tienes varias habitaciones con varios focos WiZ, no te sirve para nada. Mejor la app la vdd.A parte si tienes 4 focos en una habitación y quieres solo controlar uno, tampoco se puede. Es TODA la habitación. Lo ideal sería que funcionara independiente con cada plafón, tira...Estuve investigando como podría configurar este accesorio, porque realmente la ayuda no es muy explícita en la página de WIZ, que la verdad, hay que recomendarles que den un soporte mas explicativo para los usuarios, porque sus dispositivos inteligentes son realmente buenos y con una integración más que satisfactoria.Una vez comprendiendo como se debe integrar al ecosistema de WIZ todo es mas sencillo.OJO solo funciona con luces WIZ, no de otra marca, no es para mezclar con otras marcas. Al agregarse pareciera que no aparece en la habitación donde se ha agregado, pero en realidad está en ACCESORIOS, y ahi hay que ingresar, fijar a la habitación donde la luz será automatizada por el movimiento.Se indica la duración por la que la luz permanecerá encendida al detectar movimiento.Se cambia el valor en minutos para omitir detección después de haber apagado o encendido manualmente la luz.Una vez establecido eso, funciona de maravilla.IMPORTANTE: Dentro del dispositivo donde se colocan las pilas hay un selector tipo interruptor que se establece desde donde se espera el dispositivo detecte movimiento, desde la izquierda (L) o la derecha (R) hágase la configuración tomando estos detalles, nada de forma instantánea o sin paciencia de otro modo solo van a escribir reseñas de frustración, no funciona, etc.Sensor de movimiento WIZ para uso en luces UNICAMENTE WIZ.Ojalá el fabricante haya un video tutorial con todos los pasos correctos para la puesta en marcha, porque vale la pena la inversión, pero sin un instructivo real, deja mucho que desear.Sirve para lo que es, pero no me gusta que no se puedan programar horarios en los que el sensor funcione o no. Solo puede programar el tiempo de monitoreo y si se apaga de forma manual, qué tiempo tardará en volver a detectar movimiento. Por lo que tienes que hacer varias cosas como configurar escenas y colores si es que quieres que la luz se mantenga apagada o que se controle el nivel de iluminación, lo que hace un poco tedioso su uso, pero es lograble. Y solo funciona con la luz de la marca.No se puede usar con Alexa ni con Google home, solo desde su app.Compre una serie de luces normales para la pergola de mi terraza y es padrisimo llegar a casa y tener encendidos los foquitos y apagarla o prenderla desde la app.TENGO PROGRAMADO EL ENCHUFE Y UN FOCO WIZ DE MI GARAGE PARA QUE SE ENCIENDAN Y SE APAGUEN A DETERMINADA HORA, LLEVO SIN INTERNET 1 SEMANA( X CUESTIONES DE LA COMPAÑIA DE INTERNET) Y LO MAS SORPRENDENTE ... EL FOCO Y EL ENCHUFE SIGUE ENCENDIENDO Y APAGANDO A LA HORA PROGRAMADA AUN SIN EL INTERNET. Obvio los que no programe no funcionan más que manualmente como foco normal pero ESTOS ME HAN DEJADO IMPACTADAEs fácil de instalar y configurar.El único detalle que no gustó es que el botón de ajuste de iluminación se siente como un defecto en el apagador (un borde como rebaba gruesa), aunque es cuestión de gustos (a mi me es indistinto, pero a mi familia no le ha gustado).Un tema aparte es que, para configurar usa protocolo UDP, que es bloqueado por defecto en algunos extensores de red como los DECO de TP-LINK, y eso impide la configuración en la aplicación móvil.Si el switch se conectará a una red WIFI con DECO, hay que hacer unos trucos para lograr la configuración:Usar una red temporal con el mismo nombre y contraseña que la red del DECO, configurar el switch en la APP, y conectar el switch a la red del DECO, apagando la red temporal.
